Business Controls and Steve Foster Nominated for
2011 CSIA Apex Awards
(Greenwood Village, Colorado) June 15, 2011 – Business Controls, Inc. (BCI), the country’s leading case management and anonymous reporting solutions, consulting and corporate investigations firm, announced today its nomination, along with BCI President Steve Foster, for the 2011 Apex Awards, the prestigious technology awards recognizing outstanding accomplishments and leadership by Colorado’s advanced technology companies and professionals. The winners and finalists will be announced live on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at The Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver.
Since the program’s inception in 2000, CSIA’s Apex Awards have acknowledged well-deserved recognition for the numerous technology company success stories and technical advancements produced in Colorado. Presented in five categories for companies and five categories for professionals, the awards recognize success, innovation, vision, leadership, excellent customer support and community contributions.
Business Controls is being nominated for the IT Project of the Year for its development of MySafeDashboard Pro™, an ad hoc reporting tool that pairs with its Microsoft award-winning MySafe™ applications such as MySafeWorkplace®. This technology helps organizations reduce their risk associated with employee misconduct.
Steve Foster has been nominated for the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement award for the second year in a row. Mr. Foster’s experience in the convergence of security and technology, as well as his involvement with Colorado business and philanthropy, has put him in a position to help guide c-levels and lawmakers to make successful changes to help continue growing the technology industry.
“Colorado’s technology industry has experienced so much growth over the years, and it’s important for these successful companies to be recognized,” said Su Hawk, President, CSIA. “Our Apex Awards provide the industry a once-a-year opportunity to celebrate their success, and generate awareness around these notable companies and professionals, which include Business Controls and Steve Foster.”
“We have such an amazing team of talented and experienced people at Business Controls,” said Steve Foster, President of BCI. “This is such an honor to be recognized for our continued innovation and efforts.
