(Greenwood Village, Colorado) September 8, 2011 – Business Controls, Inc. (BCI) employee, Ms. Rachel Richards, was recently offered a position on the Board of Directors for The Band Back Together Project.  The Band Back Together Project (BB2G) is a group weblog that provides educational resources as well as a safe, moderated, supportive environment to share stories of survival.

Through the power of real stories written by real people, BB2G can work together to de-stigmatize mental illness, abuse, rape, baby loss and other traumas so that we may learn, grow, and heal.  Started in September 2010, the site currently has over 1000 registered users and the first 1000 posts were published in the first nine months.  The future of Band Back Together will be to tirelessly continue providing hope and support to those who need it.

“The Band Back Together Project is a valuable resource for the mental health community. As we help others grow and heal, the community as a whole becomes stronger,” said Rachel.

Ms. Richards’ background in Forensic Psychology and work in risk mitigation, research, and information, gives her unique skills both in understanding and working with the BB2G community, as well as conducting workplace investigations for Business Controls.
